DESCRIPTION

Deborah Bradley Construction & Management Services Inc. performed as the prime Site Contractor on the renovation of a new facility for the NYS Thruway Authority off Exit #12 as part of the initial phase of the New NY Bridge project. This $2 million fast track project was completed in 3 months. The scope of work included site clearing, excavation, installation of new drainage systems, surveying, erosion control for DEP compliance, installation of new concrete retaining walls, a new asphalt parking lot, concrete curbs & sidewalks, new pavers and the installation of new flagpoles.

DBC’s contract was then extended to include a turnkey project to install two prefabricated structures, the AETC Mainline Recorder Room and the AETC Ramp Recorder Room, to accommodate the new toll facilities for the bridge. This scope of work included the excavation and installation of foundations for the two buildings, excavation and backfill for site utilities, the procurement, coordination of shop drawings, delivery and setting in place of the buildings, and the finish work inside the buildings along with all testing, final inspections and warranties.
