As CEO, Deborah Bradley runs the day-to-day operations of the company overseeing all divisions and represents DBC as its project executive on all civil, building, electrical and construction management projects. Bradley is also responsible for all financial management decisions for the company. Today, DBC celebrates almost 30 years in business and continues to be a 100% woman-owned and operated business enterprise.
A construction business owner and mother of three, Bradley is committed to teaching and mentoring young women entering the construction industry as well as helping other small M/WBE firms grow and prosper. Bradley serves on the National Board of Women Construction Owners & Executives (WCOE) and is the former President of the Women Builders Council, Inc. (WBC, New York) and today serves on its Executive Board. WCOE and WBC are both leading associations representing women in the construction industry focused on mentorship, legislative advocacy and business development with a special focus on leadership skills for women. She is on the Board of the Reginal Alliance for Small Contractors, one of the oldest organizations dedicated to diversity in the construction industry.
Bradley currently serves on the NYC Department of Design & Construction (DDC) Diversity Board, the NYC School Construction Authority (SCA) Diversity Board and on the NYC Office of the Mayor’s MWBE Advisory Board. She is also currently a mentor in the NYC Small Business Services Mentor program.
She received her BA in accounting from University of Illinois in 1984 and her M.B.A. in finance from Columbia University in 1992.
Jennifer Dwyer has over 20 years of experience in construction management, with extensive experience in both civil construction and buildings. As a Senior Project Manager, she has managed numerous projects in the civil and buildings division as well as our electrical division. She has experience working with various agencies including NYC Economic Development Corporation Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Hudson River Park Trust, NYC Transit Authority, Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and the NYC School Construction Authority. Dwyer currently serves as Director of Pre-Construction and facilitates the transition from estimating to project management upon the award of DBC’s new projects.
Dwyer holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering/Construction Management from Manhattan College and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College. She has also completed many training classes specific to projects on which she has worked, including the NYCT Master Quality Control Training, Lead Abatement Supervisor Training and Confined Space Entrant/Attendant Training. William Quinn is a senior-level executive with over 40 years of extensive construction experience across multiple disciplines, including project management and business development. He is a proven, exceptional leader who develops and motivates others to achieve target goals at DBC.
Quinn is highly skilled in planning and executing short and long-term business strategies while communicating well across all levels of management and organizations. As a proven expert in diversity and affirmative action, he has maintained successful Diversity Programs, and he is an expert in applying Diversity and the Affirmative Action and EEO laws, rules, regulations and industry practices to DBC’s projects, ensuring we meet and exceed project MWBE, DBE and SDVOB goals.
With over 33 years of electrical experience, Chris Hasenzahl holds Master Electrician licenses in NYC, Long Island and the City of Long Beach. His extensive experience includes specialty work in all phases of NYCTA and the Long Island Railroad for power, rehabilitation, signal and communications. He oversees projects for high-rise buildings, parking garages, substations, airports, health and hospitals, water treatment facilities, Con Edison, PSEG, NYC and Hudson River Parks Trust. He is also a specialist in nurse call systems, fire alarm, audiovisual, data and keyless entry.
Hasenzahl was responsible for the lighting of the Eternal Flame in Battery Park on the one year anniversary of 9/11, as well as the replay system for Major League Baseball. His extensive architectural background helps clients understand the intricacies of projects by reviewing complex drawings with them and performing field sketches.
Peter Antonelli brings more than 40 years of comprehensive construction experience to the DBC team, including significant experience working with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, Hudson River Park Trust, National Park Service, Central Park Conservancy, the Dormitory Authority of NY, the New York and Pennsylvania Departments of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration.
Antonelli is a highly-qualified General Superintendent with a long history of successfully completing a variety of site work and heavy civil projects. He has vast experience managing contracts from inception of the project to overseeing completion of field operations. He is the key responsible person for QA/QC in the field. His experience also includes tracking contract quantities and change work orders, profit and loss accountability, layout and field surveying, communications with utility companies and permitting authorities, overseeing all field inspections for adherence to specifications, and working with City and Union officials.
His project experience includes many signature projects, including: Liberty Island Site Improvements (National Park Service), New NY Bridge (Thruway Authority), Hudson River Park Trust – (5 projects); Pier 54 Upland Park Esplanade; Pier 84 Restoration; Pier 54 Lay-By and Bike Path; Stone Paving Restoration; Dog Run, Medgar Evers College Phase I & II Site Package, Central Park Conservancy – Complete Renovation of Ancient Playground; Restoration of East Meadow Landscape, Con Edison – (8 projects) Various projects including Substation SPCC Upgrades, Pipe installation for new electrical service, final grading, asphalt & paver installation, Roofing and block and brick wall construction, MOV Detention Tank Installation, NYC Department of Parks & Recreation that included Multiple Playground and Park Improvements projects, among numerous others.
Ricardo Ramos holds a Construction Superintendent license from the New York City Department of Buildings. He is also NYC DOB Certified in Safety Management and has a degree in Computer Science. His 30 years of experience in the construction industry are focused in the NYC metro area. Ramos has supervised projects for numerous organizations including, Con Edison, NYC School Construction Authority, Hudson River Park Trust, Battery Park City Authority, Columbia University, MTA, Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, New York City Housing Authority, NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and NYC Economic Development Corporation. His project experience encompasses interior renovations, interior build-out, civil work, electrical, roofing, playgrounds, green infrastructures, medical and educational facilities.
Joseph Visconti brings more than 35 years of experience in site work and civil construction. His project experience allows him to lead and coordinate trades and subcontractors in the field, while maintaining a high level of efficiency in the execution of all construction activities. Visconti excels at value engineering, resolving issues related to unforeseen site conditions or obstructions and identifying and resolving constructibility issues. He has an excellent performance record in enabling the progress of a project, while bringing in projects under budget. His responsibilities also include surveying and layout of field work, adhering to project specifications, overseeing inspections and quality control.
He has worked on numerous projects including Hudson River Park Trust, for which he completed numerous pier, park and playground restoration projects, Con Edison, for which he completed several substation renovations at multiple locations, improvements for the National Park Service that included work on Liberty Island, among many other signature projects.
Visconti currently serves as DBC’s chief estimator for civil construction and facilitates the transition from estimating to project management upon the award of DBC’s new projects.
Visconti holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering/Facilities Management from NYC Technical College.
Lauren is a Senior Project Manager with over a decade of experience in the construction industry. She has exceptional knowledge of the construction industry and the laws, rules and regulations which pertain to construction in New York. She displays excellent working knowledge of all phases of a project, from pre-construction, scheduling, buyout, phasing, planning, construction, punchlist and close-out. Lauren has a strong ability to provide guidance on projects with her strong leadership traits, working well with all involved to bring out the strengths of her team members and produce a successful project. Her initiative, passion, knowledge, experience and imagination provide her the ability to effectively solve problems presented in construction, both onsite with the physical building and behind the scenes dealing with clients, engineers, architects and all agencies between.
Lauren’s ability to cohesively work with others allows effective working relationships with employees, clients, subcontractors, agencies and the public. Lauren’s tenacity, patience, drive, knowledge and team management provides her with the tools required to complete a successful project with a strong team along her side. Lupe brings with her over 35 years of NYC construction experience. Her projects varied ranging from Trunk Watermains, Pump Stations, Sitework, Airport construction, Foundations, Piling, Piers, Building, Roadways, and Landscape construction. Her professional experience employed by Design Firms and Owner’s Agencies now comes full circle as she joins the DBC team on the Contractor’s side. Lupe’s appreciation, respect, and enthusiasm for construction is evidenced by her love of the smell of freshly poured concrete, or newly placed asphalt on a crisp fall morning.
Sara is a professional with 14+ years of experience in project management in mechanical and electrical construction. She is a cross-functional communicator that easily interfaces with staff, vendors, and other Federal, State and City Agencies. Her electrical engineering background has allowed her to identify constructability issues in the early phases of construction and provides technical solutions in a timely manner. Sara is the team leader in DBC’s Green Energy Group, a group solely focused on the Green Energy Sector in New York, including solar and battery installations, off and on-shore wind, EV charging stations, and electrification and retrofits of building interiors.
Brian is a Senior Estimator with 40+ years in the electrical industry, specializing in managing multi-million-dollar projects in transit, commercial, and residential settings. His ability to accurately estimate cost, time, materials, labor, and equipment along with his knowledge has positively impacted DBC and our affiliation in the electrical industry.
